Bookkeep was first registered in August 2003 and later purchased by Colleen Bakker in January 2006. Bookkeep offers complete bookkeeping and accounting solutions for your business. We offer a wide variety of bookkeeping and organisational services as well as providing businesses with a reliable software platform from which to conduct their accounting tasks. "Colleen Bakker was introduced to me in December of 2005 as the new owner operator of Bookkeep. My previous bookkeeper of 2 years had left me in September 2005 and my BAS returns were late, previous returns were rushed and I had serious concern regarding the accuracy of financial data in MYOB files entered by a caretaker. When Colleen officially took over and confirmed my worst fears she said "Don't worry I'll fix this up" - "It won't happen overnight, but I can guarantee to make it perfect" - and she did! -In the process she also discovered $25,000 unclaimed GST. Colleen has completely transformed the bookkeeping practices of my business to reflect her own meticulous approach and given me the confidence to know that these functions are in the hands of a skilled professional. - In the process she has also become a friend.
