OFW® is the breakthrough oil producers are seeking to solve wells’ productivity issues. It will change the way we analyze and plan field development. Thanks to our innovative injection procedures, an aqueous formulation of surfactants at the intermolecular scale reach the reservoir to improve the productivity index and the ultimate recovery with no alteration of the original reservoir properties (e.g., temperature, pressure, salinity). At the post-treatment stage, our clients do not need to incur additional investments at the time the OPEX per barrel is pushed down, as OFW®: 1) Mobilizes the oil naturally adhering to the reservoir rock and reduces the crude water interfacial tension. Also, it generates the imbibition process of water that is injected with the chemical (expelling the crude that is drained, increasing the recovery factor, when is injected continuously). 2) Optimizes surface networks brings unprofitable wells back on-line and avoid the need for fresh investments. 3) Prevents undesirable formation water production, which sets down lifting, handling, and disposal costs. 4) Is not only safe for handling during operations but is also environmentally friendly and could be used for the remediation of oil spills on the ground and decontamination of living beings.
