Since opening our doors in 2006, we at Bonniers Konsthall have exhibited and lectured on art from all over the world. Our working philosophy is rooted in a desire to support the artistic, as well as participating in the wider community by increasing general knowledge of contemporary art. The lion’s share of our programme consists of in-house productions, both themed group exhibitions which aim to place the involved art in a larger, cultural context, as well as individual artist exhibitions, where we have helped to foster the working process of those involved. Bonniers Konsthall operates on an international level, and maintains an active dialogue and interchange with other Swedish and international cultural institutions, where we collaborate on exhibitions, educational programmes, and book publications. Thus far, we have issued 10 anthologies and exhibition publications, many of them collaborations with Albert Bonniers Förlag. Bonniers Konsthall is also involved in more long-term research projects along with other cultural institutions and universities. Bonniers Konsthall displays the latest art to a wide public, where generating dialogue on art serves as our driving force. We remain constantly on the lookout for new configurations for our educational offerings, and place great importance on art projects that involve the public. In addition, we publish our own magazine, available both in print and online, and are constantly setting out to expand our digital presence and utilise new technology in our public work. From the moment we opened our doors, we here at Bonniers Konsthall began amassing our own collection of works created specifically for exhibitions we have produced. Our collection includes everything from performance art to video installations to sculptures. Many of the works in our private collection have been loaned out to museums around the world.
