Boma ECU Information

Boma Global is a global network of local partners and stakeholders initiated by CEO Lara Stein, who after founding TEDx and taking Singularity University global, proved that a for-profit & impact model, delivered through decentralized partners, can work. And it is incredibly powerful. Through transformational experiences and events, Boma brings together an agile ecosystem of stakeholders to solve humanity's challenges, including social leaders, impact organizations, NGO's, investors, industry & corporate leaders, community, policy & government, entrepreneurs & startups, and educational institutions & thought leaders. Boma ECU, run by members of the Emily Carr University of Art + Design community, shares and enriches projects from our local community across Boma to cultivate the exposure, collaboration, and strategic and financial support to and scale outcomes. Boma's university pilot, Boma ECU also held the first Boma Pitch event (Boma ECU Pitch: Climate Action) which brought together thought leaders and student creatives to bring transdisciplinary projects to their next steps.
