BoldCode is a France-based technical agency specializing in designing and developing data-centric custom web & mobile applications. We are a full-service IT company focused on providing digital solutions and cybersecurity services to humanitarian organizations, INGOs, government-funded initiatives, media houses, disruptive startups, as well as smaller-scale NGOs. We work with civil society, think tanks and governments to promote transparency and democracy through technology. We also support smaller organizations with affordable MVP IT solutions that can help them kickstart their project and monitor its impact. We believe in a global network of talents and are committed to creating better IT jobs in developing countries, while maximizing our social and environmental impact. The projects we select focus on 4 main areas: Human rights and Transparency: - Promoting governments accountability and data transparency, with GEC. - Supporting human rights organizations in cross-checking voting data, using tools such as Ushahidi - used for presidential election monitoring. Humanitarian: - Guaranteeing the cybersecurity of DEEP, an application used for needs assessment during humanitarian crises. - Supporting IDMC and IOM with solutions that allow data collection and analysis of migration-related data. - Supporting the IFRC with their data portal ifrcgo.org Environment: - Environmental impact assessment of humanitarian responses, with UNEP - Fauna and Flora data collection in remote areas of Papua New Guinea, with UNDP Medias: - Press panorama production automation, with VEDEM - Map violence, analyze trends, and documents human rights violations in Eastern Congo with the Kivu Security Tracker.
