Boiler Services Information

Paul is a Registered Gas Engineer who has been servicing, installing and repairing gas boilers and central heating systems for 35 years. He's been plumbing for even longer! In his free time he produces a web site freeheatingadvice.com dealing with gas boilers and central heating systems and their maintenance, fault-finding and repair. Paul also produces a similar site (lovekin.net) and is working on a major upgrade. Jacky provides some of the admin backup for the company. She has a 1st class honours degree in clinical practice and, until recently, worked as a Nurse Practitioner in a local GP practice. Some of our customers knew her in that role. After a long career in nursing, Jacky decided it was time for a change. She is a keen gardener and loves her two (slightly odd) Russian Blue cats, Tip and Luna. We have 3 children who have all grown up and live independently. Our household now consists of the two of us and the two cats and, when COVID allows it, lots of visitors! Together, and with the help of colleagues, we ran a similar plumbing and heating company for 30 years, based between Aldershot and Guildford, southwest of London. In 2016 we moved to Hawkchurch, very near where Devon, Dorset and Somerset meet, and set up Boiler Services Ltd (BSL). We work in Axminster, Seaton, Chard, Honiton, Lyme Regis and Bridport. For us, work doesn't need to be a competition between employer and employed, nor a tussle between us and our customers. That's one reason we love the South West it's so much easier to run a business which is co-operative and mutually beneficial. We had planned to slow down a little but it hasn't worked out that way yet and we're still enjoying it!
