Joe's Crab Shack started in Houston, Texas as the "hippest" little seafood restaurant in town. Our beach-side shack theme attracted tons of people from the start. People heard that Joe's was a place that they could kick back, strap on a bib, and enjoy awesome crabs and seafood while sitting at picnic tables with the music playing. Today, Joe's is known as a place for cracking crabs and having gun on any occasion.
Joe's Crab Shack is owned and operated by Ignite Restaurant Group, based in Houston, Texas. Ignite Restaurant Group also operates Brick House Tavern + Tap. We currently own 157 restaurants in 36 states. Our guests LOVE our restaurants!
