‘Design with people in mind.’ The way that people interact with their environment, and how that can make them feel or behave, fascinates us. We are motivated by excellent design, and the challenge of finding innovative and intelligent solutions has led us to produce some highly original and award winning projects across the UK and internationally. --- Healthcare: Established in 2004 as an interior design studio, we have expanded strongly into the healthcare sector. Our specialist expertise in enhancing healing environments has given us the opportunity to work on some really innovative projects, designing spaces for children, young people, families and older patients with differing levels of need and accessibility. Our experience of delivering projects with all levels of healthcare management and clinicians has given us an informed understanding of the particular challenges of working in clinical environments. We are able to offer a design service that is underpinned with health, safety, infection control and efficiency in mind. Boex offers a comprehensive healthcare interior design service both in the refurbishment and remodelling of existing buildings and new build ‘blank page’ projects. --- Commercial: We have strong experience in commercial retail and food environments, exhibition spaces and outdoor installations. We challenge ourselves to come up with creative designs that enhance existing architecture and environments, often using reclaimed and salvaged materials resulting in truly unique spaces that work for your customers, clients or team. --- Product: Part of our service often involves the design and commission of one off pieces of furniture, fixtures or equipment - examples include the ‘Pencil Bench’ and the ‘Wicker Wave’ pendant light fitting. --- Owned and managed by twins, Will and Sam Boex, the Boex studio and team are agile and dynamic, able to deliver highly creative projects on time and on budget.
