Kimes Technologies was formed in 1996 by Norm Kimes and, at that time, was named Kimes Trading International, Inc. which reflected the global nature of the marketing organization. The company has diligently sought to add value by working closely with manufacturing principals to create technology and application specific products for key niche markets. In 2010, the company was renamed Kimes Technologies International to reflect this technological contribution to the products we sell; also, Julie Kimes was named President in September 2010. Our goal is to focus on the short term objectives of our customers while setting our sights well into the future to ensure that every product Kimes Technologies offers to the marketplace is of the highest quality and of sound technology. During this time, Rust Destroyer® has been approved by Meadowlands Race Track, Giants Stadium, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, U.S. Department of the Navy, New York Transit Authority, Electric power generating companies, Railroad companies, Wastewater treatment plants, Korean Register of Shipping, Korean Highway Research Department, Korean Highway Corporation, Korean Classification society, and Singapore Industrial Standard Research, to name a few. Looking ahead to the next millennium, we've developed, and are manufacturing and marketing Rust Knockout®, the waterborne version of Rust Destroyer®. Rust Knockout® has an insignificant VOC of 30 grams/liter as well as some acid, alkali, and solvent resistance. Both Rust Destroyer® and Rust Knockout® are approved by the Korean Register of Shipping. And that's not all! We've also developed, and are manufacturing and marketing Fast Dry Rust Destroyer®, a solvent based product with an insignificant VOC of 65 grams/liter. Time is money and Fast Dry Rust Destroyer® dries to touch in 10 minutes! This eliminates all the restrictions everywhere, even in the south coast of CA where there is a VOC limit of 100 grams.liter. All 3 products are easy-to-use, one step systems that can be applied directly over rust, bare metal, and previously painted surfaces. Before applying, just remove loose or scaling particles, grease, and dirt so that you are working with a firm, parintable surface.
