We operate at the most local level of government, with twenty councillors elected for a term of four years each. Councillors work for the town and surrounding areas and are supported by a small team of officers based at the Penlee Centre in the heart of Penzance. As well as Penzance, the distinct communities of Newlyn, Paul, Mousehole, Heamoor and Gulval are represented by their own elected councillors. It is our vision to maintain and enhance our community for the well-being and prosperity of present and future generations in and around Penzance.
