Shannon is a member of the Family Law Council of Australia, Women Lawyers of Western Australia, the Law Society of Western Australia, Family Law Practitioners Association of Western Australia and Australian Lawyers for Human Rights Inc. Shannon is qualified to practise in all jurisdictions of Australia and is admitted to the High Court of Australia.
