Boddhi Tree Foundation Information

10 years of Boddhi Tree Foundation (2016 to 2026) A tree begins as a small seed, puts down roots, and, in time, gives shelter to others. We grow the same way. We are a Section 8 not-for-profit company, incorporated in August 2016. From 2016 to 2018 we worked with rural women's Self-help Groups (SHGs) on low-emission cooking stoves (chulas). In September 2018, we began free online tuition with 8 students. It is now the heart of our work. What we do • Free live classes in Maths, English, Science and Social Studies for Classes 1 to 12 • Internships in teaching, HR, admin, digital media, fundraising and marketing Our impact • 1,120 students taught • 1,003 teachers trained • 141 young people trained • 17 states, with current students from 10 • 35 active teachers and volunteers Partners: Family Service Center (FSC), Amity University, and UPES.
