Boardman Ltd is the leading network developing active ownership and board work competences in Finland. Boardman creates and shares new knowledge and aims to support owners, board members and management in their decision-making. Boardman is a trusted network for entrepreneurs, leaders and members of the board to openly share their views and experiences in business and the future of Finland. All the activities within the network are based on the values of learning, sharing and renewal. Boardman organizes events in order to develop company ownership, board work, management and good corporate governance in Finland. We are best known for "The Ownership and Board Work Training", which is held twice a year. The training focuses on growing the board work and ownership competences of the participants and includes several themes from corporate governance, the co-operation between the management, the board and the owners to legal responsibilities and brand management. Boardman has developed digital tools to promote competent board work and management. BoardMapping is an established self-assessment tool for boards to analyze their performance. Brand Compass is a digital mapping tool and brand leadership process for board and management to raise their understanding on the company brand. The Boardman Alumni network is made up of the individuals who have completed Boardman’s "Ownership and Board Work Training" who want to further develop their skills and remain active within the network. The Boardman Grow network is for those who are interested in growth companies and entrepreneurship. Boardman Grow aims to promote the culture and know-how of growth in Finland.
