BOAB Systems Information

Boab Systems is a computer software development company that was incorporated in Queensland, Australia in 2004. The company has developed a series of unique software programs for geotechnical testing laboratories. The principal consultant, Mr. Stephen West, has an extensive background in software development since the early 1990's. During his studies at Central Queensland University, Stephen worked as a Soil Technician for a large geotechnical engineering firm in south east Queensland, and it was here Stephen first started producing software packages for Soil Testing Laboratories. Tim Hall, Boab Systems' Business Manager, has worked as a geotechnical testing laboratory manager for the past 32 years. In 1990, Tim established his own Construction Materials Testing Company in Townsville, Queensland. This organisation originally served as a testing bed for the laboratory management system now known as Helpa. Earlier versions of Helpa have provided computer software programs to the materials testing industry throughout Australia since 1994.
