b.next Information

b.next is building the ecosystem, technology, and infrastructure to deploy synthetic cells against the world's hardest problems. Since launching in June 2023, b.next has grown a global community of academic, industry, and government researchers building synthetic cells together. We built and maintain Nucleus, an open platform for synthetic cell engineering, operate a manufacturing plant producing the physical materials researchers need to build on it, and advance R&D programs that push new synthetic cell capabilities from the lab into the world.
