b.next Information

b.next is building the technology and infrastructure that make it possible to use synthetic cells to solve the world's hardest problems. Since launching in June 2023, b.next has catalyzed a global research community building synthetic cells together. We built and maintain Nucleus, an open platform for building synthetic cells (https://nucleus.engineering). We operate a manufacturing plant for synthetic cells. We pursue R&D programs that bring synthetic cells from the lab into the world.
