PTS are specialists in the provision of inspection by Non Destructive Testing (NDT Inspection). Radiographic, Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic, Penetrant and Weld Inspection. Positive material Identification, Weld Procedures / Welder Qualifications, Quality Assurance & Consultancy. Inspections are carried out by our experienced and qualified professional engineers who are approved to both UK and US standards. Our qualified personnel all hold PCN level 2 and level 3 accreditation, BINDT, LEP, ASNT & CSWIP accredited within a broad range of NDT disciplines. All work is carried out either on site, or in our laboratories, to suit our client’s needs. PTS have inspection teams qualified in rope access to carry numerous NDT disciplines without the need for scaffolding, suspension platforms and cradles. Following our inspections we produce detailed reports, including drawings and photos, and these can be supplied in whatever form is required. Our inspection services cover the UK and Europe, including West Midlands, East Midlands, Sheffield, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester and Birmingham.

Ultramag Inspection Services Ltd is a market leading, ISO 9001 independent Organisation providing inspection and testing services to a broad range of industries. Ultramag hold Accreditation to BS EN ISO 17020 as an Independent Inspection Body providing welding surveillance. Our main industries are Construction, Marine, Aerospace, Defence, Nuclear, Pressure Systems, Oil & Gas, Power Generation & Renewables. along with N.D.T. Training and Level 3 Services. We have been providing a professional non-destructive and mechanical testing service for 50 years. We have two facilities covering N.D.T., Pressure Testing, NDT training and mechanical testing of welded test pieces. Our training department offer NDT courses, along with Welding Inspector, Welding Technology related courses and RWC's training to ISO 3834 standards. Ultramag is a member of the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing; Service Inspection Group and International Society for Condition Monitoring. We currently hold Approvals from Lloyd's Register, Bureau Veritas and Det Norske veritas for Marine Surveys to IACS requirements. Our inspectors hold qualifications for PCN, SNT, CSWIP, NAS 410, EN 4179 and IIW/EWF Diplomas at Levels 2 and 3. Level 3 personnel ensure the smooth running of the facilities, with an I.I.W. Welding Technologist and Welding Specialist performing welding surveillance at clients premises.

Spree NDT was formed in January 1978 to provide a totally independent inspection service to the South East of England. With the ever increasing demands for quality assurance in all aspects of engineering, Spree has grown to its present level whereby many large contracts have been successfully carried out on behalf of major clients throughout the UK. Our success is due to a permanent staff of dedicated engineers and administrative personnel, who are based at the main operations office in Sittingbourne, Kent. Spree now operates throughout the U.K. and Europe and our policy is 'to move with the times'. We lead the inspection field in operating modern 'state of the art' equipment, and believe that this is the way to increase still further our customer base, which already stands at over 500 clients. Our team of inspectors are qualified to PCN/ASNT/ERS standards and carry out all types of NDT (Non Destructive Testing) throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East. Spree carries a full range of NDT equipment including twenty-five x-radiography sets rated from 75kV to 300kV, giving us the ability to cover all eventualities which may occur in the x-radiography field. Full destructive testing is also carried out, including hardness, bend and tensile tests, charpy tests, low temperature charpy tests, macro and micro examination, failure analysis and full metallurgical consultancy and associated testing facilities. Our laboratory at Sittingbourne is operated under the UKAS quality system and leads the United Kingdom in providing weld procedure and welder certification to BSEN and ASME. Our portable arc monitoring units are capable of identifying problems during actual welding, this eliminates the need for the time consuming and expensive physical tests, which may still result in weld failures.
