BMEA CEG Information

College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG) is India's oldest technical Institute and serves as the main campus of Anna University. The Biomedical Engineering a part of this prestigious Institute has close ties with industries, excellent research practices and multiple extracurricular activities. The students of biomedical engineering started the association named "Biomedical Engineers' Association (BMEA) CEG" in the year 2012. The Biomedical Engineers' Association is a dynamic collaboration of students of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Electronics with faculty members at CEG, Anna University. Every year we organize our intra and inter college symposiums Medevolv and Biospectra. Medevolv is an intra college technical symposium which is conducted to benefit the university students and provide an opportunity to exhibit their expertise and forte in both technical and non-technical domains. Biospectra is a national level inter college technical symposium. It is being organized with great passion for the past 10 years. This Flagship event proves to be a grand success year by year. The symposium comprises 15+ technical and non-technical events that includes workshops on various domains, guest lectures, project expo, paper presentation, med expo and carnival. In addition to this symposiums, we conduct Career Guidance programs to guide, enlighten and inspire students, organize Alumni meet to maintain an efficient BMEA alumni network and BMEA offers various special classes which is being taught by seniors to help junior students of Biomedical Engineering in their academics and projects.
