BME Formula Racing Team Information

BME Formula Racing Team is a student project at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. It has been operating since 2007, designing and building open-wheel, single seater, formula-style race cars as well as participating in the worldwide Formula Student design competiton. This complex project, which involves designing, manufacturing, testing, racing and not least management, helps students gain the ability to put theory into practice in an unrivalled way, meanwhile they further expand their technological knowledge and problem-solving skills. Team members who start their careers at our strategic partners have up-to-date technological acquaintance, know of our partners’ product palettes and had built a sense of teamwork for reaching common goals.
