We have been writing software for a long time, in fact since 1984. Back then our name was McClain and Associates, based in the North-West suburbs of Chicago, IL. Since then we have relocated to the Rockford, Il area and now also create our own solutions, in addition to traditional consulting. This is when we updated our name to be BluggySoft. We have evolved with technology and currently specialize in Web based solutions, SQL Server and Microsoft .net. We are still a small company which continues to help our customers achieve their goals by carefully understanding their requirements, applying the proper development techniques, and following up with first-class support. How we differ from other software consulting companies We know there are many other companies which offer similar services. The biggest difference is our developers and designers. Everyone at BluggySoft is passionate about their field; it is not merely a job or a pay check. For many it is a hobby or something we would want to do in our free-time. In other words we "dream in code". Another big difference is our staffing model. We do not have high overhead costs because most of our developers work out of their homes and are signed on to a project as needed. In many cases our developers are willing to work for reduced rates because they are excited about the projects and want to get exposure to the latest technologies we use.
