Blueforce Development Corporation is a packaged software company, headquartered and incorporated in Massachusetts, which has built a patent-pending software application and fusion platform that enables information sharing and decision support among people, systems, and machines using mobile, handheld, wireless devices. The v1.0 product was launched into market in September of 2010. Fundamentally, the software allows groups of people to rapidly form a secure workgroup using their mobile devices (e.g., embedded, SmartPhone, netbook, laptop) for collaboration, location-based services, situational awareness, and person-attached or unattended sensor sharing. The product was initially conceived and developed to fill a massive hole in the market: to enable information sharing and tactical decision support for our men and women working in defense, homeland security, counter-terrorism, law enforcement, and emergency response. These professionals serve on our streets and abroad in austere, denied, and chaotic environments where mission success and life safety hinges on information exchange. Blueforce software delivers this capability through our secure, extensible, and standards-based products and services using SmartPhones and devices they can carry in their pocket.
