Blue Water Pools® has been in business 30+ years. Our business is family owned and operated with three divisions in two locations. We build in ground swimming pools of all types, maintain and repair our client's pools, operate a service department and provide a complete line of pool and spa chemicals and supplies as well as sell parts. We don't just build new swimming pools, we provide your complete backyard experience, including pool houses, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, decks, retaining walls and landscaping. All of our work is custom and we look forward to creating you an incredible outdoor escape. Our Pittsburg, KS location serves the area with a retail store, located at 302 S. Broadway, and an in ground and above ground pool service business. We have two divisions at our Joplin, MO location. Located at 2515 N. Rangeline rd. is our retail and service company and our in ground pool construction business. The owners of Blue Water Pools® are well qualified to be part of the building industry. Our company was started by Gale and Lana Newlin. Gale Newlin's background includes 40 years in management with a BS and MS in chemistry. He is an engineer with emphasis in physics and mathematics. Lana Newlin has a 15 year background in teaching. With a BA , MS, and abd Ph.D. Joe Newlin is our construction engineer and designer. His background is in construction management and drafting. Suzanne Almandinger has a BS in printing management with an emphasis in accounting, graphics, and photography. She oversees the retail and service divisions.
