Blue Square studio is a boutique production studio offering complete design + build services tailored to the special requirements of contemporary artists and corporate creative teams. Have a brilliant idea or creative vision but no idea how to make it happen? That's our specialty! We have worked big brands such as Hudson's Bay to make window displays and custom props for special projects. And artistically, with international artists and large scale art shows such as dOCUMENTA13 and Istanbul Biennial, produced artworks that are now housed within the National Gallery of Canada, the Vancouver Art Gallery, the Art Gallery of Ontario, as well as numerous private collections. We see our role as bridging the gap between creative conception and technical execution, with a special emphasis on maintaining the conceptual integrity of the project while bringing an idea to life. Rather than finding the most available solution, every project is a new challenge to be solved. Blue Square considers all the components that make each project unique to the artist's practice or brand's identity, finding cost-effective solutions to virtually any production.
