Welcome and thank your interest in Blue Ridge Sports Cars. We restore classic automobiles to show quality standard, and we also restore and prepare vintage race cars. We also take pride in our involvement in classic car sourcing and sales. Our high quailty work results in show winning cars, that provide lasting driving enjoyment. Blue Ridge Sports Cars Inc. was founded in 1998 and was formed by Rodney Butterfield a master restorer from England. Rodney restored his first sports car, an MG TC at the age of fifteen, and went on to work for Formula 1 teams such as Mclaren, March and Surtees, as well as UOP Shadow, as a fabricator and race mechanic. He obtained his bachelors degree in automotive design from Loughborough University. He then formed a UK based company, Thoroughbred Sports Cars which over 20 years, became one of the largest restoration, race preparation and sales companies in Europe. In 1996 he moved to the USA and formed Blue Ridge Sports Cars which now operates in Forest City, North Carolina. At Blue Ridge Sports Cars we are equipped to perform all restoration related services from high quality paint work to mechanical performance enchancements, along with ground up restorations.
