Blue Pillar Project Information

Blue Pillar Project is a nonprofit focused on helping individuals in East Africa build self-reliance through small business. We provide small business loans, along with ongoing support and accountability, to entrepreneurs who have the ability and work ethic to succeed but lack access to capital and opportunity. Our approach is different from traditional aid. We focus on responsible lending rather than handouts, careful evaluation of each opportunity, and long-term involvement to help ensure sustainable outcomes. To date, Blue Pillar has reviewed over 48 applications and funded 13 small businesses. Each project is selected with a focus on long-term viability and real-world impact. Our goal is simple: help people build something that lasts.
