Blue Eagle Security was founded by Rick Hewitt. Rick Hewitt has an extensive background in law enforcement. He retired from NYPD as a Sergeant with 23 years of service. Prior to being promoted to Sergeant he also served as a Detective in the 13th precinct detective squad. Rick is trained in the following: The elite strategic training(supervisor training), Organized Crime Control Bureau Supervisors Investigation Course, Dignitary protection training, FEMA Active shooter training, FEMA National Incident Management System, FEMA incident command system for healthcare/hospitals, Surveillance training, and Auto Crime training. Rick possesses a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Rick is a NYS licensed private investigator. Blue Eagle Security is a unique company divided into three departments: -The executive protection team- An elite executive team made up of prior/active law enforcement officers from local and federal agencies. -The Security Team - Made up of NYS licensed armed/unarmed personnel. Services are provided for and not limited to Commercial sites, Events, Construction, Retail and property management. -Private Investigation Department - Headed by the owner(Rick Hewitt) and a staff of retired NYPD detectives providing Surveillance, Background checks, Infidelity cases, Workers Compensation cases, Insurance cases and Bug sweeps.
