Vanguard Music and Performing Arts (VMAPA) is a leading non profit in the Performing Arts. VMAPA's flagship program is the Santa Clara Vanguard.
The Santa Clara Vanguard Drum & Bugle Corps was formed in 1967 in Santa Clara, California. SCV has the distinction of being the only organization to be a finalist in Drum Corps International (DCI) World Championships since the inception of DCI in 1972.
The VMAPA organization has two competitive drum and bugle corps, the Vanguard and the Vanguard Cadets, a World Winter Guard, private lessons program, Youth Brass Ensemble, Youth Percussion Ensemble, and other community arts programs.
The entire VMAPA organization strives to create a positive atmosphere where young people can grow and mature into responsible young adults; succeeding both as individuals and as members of a tightly woven group.
The mission of The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization sponsored by the Village of Rosemont, Illinois, is to provide its members a unique, life-changing experience based on excellence, teamwork, and camaraderie through the performing arts.
Founded in 1988, Carolina Crown, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth performing arts organization based out of Fort Mill, SC. Annually, we directly impact thousands of young people through two active programs and three live events, fostering music education, performance opportunity, and leadership development.
Our flagship program, Crown, is a world-renowned, award- winning drum and bugle corps comprised of 165 performers, ages 16-21, that are selected from a rigorous audition process that spans the course of several months. Each season, Crown creates an 11-minute field show designed and taught by experts in the marching performing arts from all around the world. After completing the show, Crown embarks on an extensive 2-month long nationwide tour captivating the hearts of hundreds of thousands all while competing with other drum and bugle corps at the highest level.
