Blue City Holdings Ltd. is a social enterprise devoted to providing services to the LGBTQ+ communities. Launched in 2000, Blue City's first product danlan.org is one of the first and biggest web-based gay community in Asia. In 2012, danlan.org launched Blued, a gay dating app that has dominated China and Southeast Asia market. Today, Blued has more than 40M users worldwide and is one of the fastest growing GBTQ+ app. By regarding “Changing the LGBT community with science and technology” as its core mandate, Blue City has been actively running HIV/AIDS prevention and anti-discrimination campaigns. It has successfully co-conducted dozens of public welfare programs in collaboration with the World Health Organization, UNAIDS, Chinese Ministry of Health and the Central Disease Control. In 2019, Blue City is aiming to launch several new products throughout the world to better serve the LGBTQ+ communities.
