Blue City Company 1 Information

The organization behind the project is Al Sawadi Investment & Tourism Company (ASIT) which has the endorsement of the government of Oman to bring this massive urban development to life. Blue City Company 1 (BCC1) S.A.O.C. is the special purpose vehicle incorporated to oversee the management and delivery of Phase 1 of Al Madina A'Zarqa. Al Madina A'Zarqa is a 32 square kilometer city development rising in Al Sawadi, Oman. The city will radically expand the tourism facilities in Oman and the city will become a world destination centering its economic development on trade, sports & wellness, medicine & healthcare, education, tourism and entertainment. When complete it will have 20 hotels, shopping and business areas, hospital, university, golf course and everything else one would want and need in a thriving metropolis. The cit will be home to more than 200,000 people including 10,000 university students.
