BlazeFrame is an innovative approach to using intumescent fire stop materials to simultaneously frame and fire stop dynamic and static joints in standard cold formed steel/gypsum walls. The cured intumescent is odor free, effective immediately, and unaffected by wet, freezing, humid or hot (below 300 degrees) conditions. Protection and support of wall framing materials is provided for up to 3" joints. The design eliminates fire caulk, spray, flute plates, drywall rips, and contour drywall cuts throughout joint assemblies.
