National EMS, Inc. was founded in 1977 to provide needed ambulance services within several communities in Georgia. Today the company is one of the largest ambulance services in the state and employs several hundred field personnel and administrative staff. National EMS is the 911 service provider for Rockdale, Morgan, Athens-Clarke, and Oconee Counties.
