Blacktac Pty Ltd was established in Launceston in 1975 by Graeme Midson and Wayne Chugg with a view to providing quality civil works, including primarily the asphalt surfacing of driveways, school playgrounds and full constructions of tennis and netball courts. In 1986 Blacktac expanded and was appointed the Tasmanian agent for the application of the 'Plexipave' surfacing system, a natural progression and downstream addition to court construction undertaken by the company. Last year Blacktac celebrated a 30 year association with the 'Plexipave' product . To this day, Wayne continues to be a working director of the company taking pride in offering quality products with professional service, attention to detail and value for money.
