Established in 1987. Blackstones is currently Portlands only Flag-Flying Gay Bar. We specialize in a Neighborhood feel, a safe space to unwind, chat up locals and play a game of Pool. All are welcome! Pool Tournaments every Tuesday and Sunday! Karaoke every Sunday night! Drag shows Monthly. Blackstones was established in 1987 by a trio of well known Northeast Gay Business owners. The Bar was bought by Ralph Cusack in 1992, and by Matt Pekins in 2014. Originally a discrete Gay Mens Club, Blackstones spent most of its history as New Englands go-to Gay Mens Leather Bar. As the bar continues to change with the community it represents, it is now a relaxing, all-inclusive destination for the LGBTQ+ community.
