Blackstone& Information

Technology is the science. Partnership is the art. Blackstone& are a technical consultancy who specialise in digital transformation and complex technical deliveries, across government, telecoms, utilities, and regulated enterprise. We've been through a few of these cycles now. Cloud, then DevOps, then SRE and platform engineering, and these days a lot of what we do is AI. Not slideware and not a clever demo on someone's laptop, but AI that has to hold up in production inside a real enterprise, with all the governance and scrutiny that comes with it. Every wave arrives faster than the last, but the thing that decides whether transformation works tends to stay the same. It rarely falls over because the ambition was wrong. It falls over in the doing. The deck gets signed off, the money is there, and then it quietly stalls in the gap between what the executives intended and what actually gets built. Capability is missing in places. So is the right governance. So is the talent. And the usual fix from the consulting world is to throw people at it rather than expertise. That gap is the whole reason we exist. We've learned it's rarely a headcount problem.
