BlackBinder is an App available for iPads created to bring a revolutionary change to the world of music scores: the Automatic Scroll.Our goal is that musicians can study, rehearse and perform with a full-fledged App, improving upon all the features most other advanced Apps have, and incorporating a radical change: you can see the sheet music flowing in front of you, never having to turn a page again while you perform. Our algorithm transform pages of scores into a continuous flow that adapts to the music tempo, scrolling as you play your instrument.Yes, it is very much like a teleprompter, but with a whole set of additional features.Furthermore, BlackBinder provides a piracy-free end-to-end distribution environment by which publishers and composers can sell and control the lifecycle of their music. This is in fact a huge change from PDFs. The big advantage is that you no longer work with printed sheet music, nor PDF-based Apps, but with digital scores in a revolutionary format to musicians with a series of functions and advantages which paper/PDF can never offer.As all revolutions, this is not a simple endeavor, and so we are approaching it very humbly one instrument at a time, starting with trumpet and gradually bringing in the rest of brass instruments, incorporating all the intricacies and complexities inherent to each.
