Black Owned Now Information

Our purpose is to support and raise awareness for black-owned businesses in an effort to build a powerful infrastructure and expansive database for the black business community. Due to systematic racism and microaggressions nationally, black-owned businesses are inhibited from reaching their maximum potential of success. Reportedly, the Black buying power totaled $1.6 trillion in 2016, and only stays in our community for six hours. Recycling the black dollar back into the community has a direct impact on the overall sustainability of our educational system, job market, and black political leaders possessing the power to influence important economic decisions on behalf of the black community. Black Owned Now is committed to bridging this gap by providing a national advertising and marketing platform, allowing black businesses to grow their presence and consumer base, and . We do this by providing essential tools, by cultivating more jobs, and by offering significant funding opportunities for the Black Owned Now community.
