VOA is more than a nonprofit. We are a ministry of service committed to helping build brighter, more resilient futures. Since 1896, we have served communities across the country through hundreds of human service programs, including housing, health care and support for veterans, people experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, individuals returning from incarceration and those in recovery. Today, more than 15,000 professionals and thousands of volunteers help VOA serve people in communities across the country. Our purpose remains the same: providing compassionate care today so communities can flourish tomorrow.

Safe Horizon is the largest victim service organization in the country. Every year, 250,000 people seek safety through our services. Clients come to us following experiences of physical violence, sexual violence, community violence, emotional abuse, and exploitation. Often they have experienced multiple forms of harm, and for many, it was made worse by an institution that was supposed to protect them. Our Mission: To stand with those who have experienced violence, abuse, and exploitation. We offer unwavering support and advocate for systemic change. Our Vision: We envision a world where safety is a universal human right, and we all share a collective responsibility to protect and uphold it. We strive for a society where people are safe in their communities, homes, bodies, and minds.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) leads the fight to protect children by creating vital services for them and the people who keep them safe. Every child deserves a safe childhood. Since 1984, NCMEC has served as the national clearinghouse and resource center for families, victims, private organizations, law enforcement and the public on issues relating to missing and sexually exploited children.
