Lyndhurst Secondary College has a dynamic and diverse learning community in which we seek to empower students for learning and life. Every student is encouraged to get involved with the wider community of their school, and we’re here to help them build on the necessary skills to do so. Multipride, our award-winning program, has become a model for supporting cultural harmony within other schools since its inception several years ago. Our staff focus classroom learning on the growth individual students make to ensure everyone’s expectations are maintained. We determine a student’s progress by assessment data, which establishes their entrance level and, later, establishes their level of growth. Curriculum is differentiated so every student, no matter the starting point, achieves their best. Lyndhurst Secondary College’s select entry Academic Curriculum Enhancement (ACE) program is a learning pathway for high-achievers. ACE students access unique learning opportunities and get an early start to VCE through this program. It accelerates and enhance their specialist learning, which is important if they need a certain ATAR score. We place equal emphasis on those students seeking a career in a trade. Trade students can experience work placement and TAFE education, and can enhance their learning through the wide range of VET and VCAL options, such as a school-based apprenticeship or structured workplace learning program.

Croydon Primary School is dedicated to the academic and personal growth of every student and we strive to create a stimulating and motivating environment that promotes a love of learning. We encourage every student to reach their potential by providing a range of programs designed to develop and extend their skills. Great emphasis is placed on the core foundations for learning - Literacy and Numeracy. Our aim is to challenge students to be the very best that they can be. Established in 1888, our school is located in central Croydon on a bushland site of four hectares, within a culturally and socially diverse community. We pride ourselves on educating the whole child, engaging our students with challenging learning experiences that cater for the wide variety of individual needs and supporting them socially and emotionally to achieve their best. We currently have ten classes with a student population of approximately 190. Teaching teams work together at all levels of the school to plan and deliver an extensive curriculum that promotes student development. All students take part in specialist programs in the areas of Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Languages (Indonesian and German) and Physical Education.
