BioTraceIT Corporation has developed PainTrace®. The only devices for non-invasive and continuous acute and chronic pain monitoring with real-time visualization. The company’s approach uses wearable medical devices to measure pain through the acquisition of direct biosignals that quantify the nervous system’s response to pain. The device provides an instantaneous, real time, numeric readout indicating a level of pain (or the absence of pain). Pain measurements can be stored and transmitted wirelessly, allowing healthcare providers to track and analyze a patient’s pain level during exams or over follow-up periods.
