Biotown Information

Biotown is a not-for-profit that aims to promote science and access to biotechnology through activities, workshops, and interactive events in Ottawa. Biotown operates a community laboratory located in downtown Ottawa. It's a space where you have the tools you need to come up with clever ways to create, experiment, and learn. Our workshops teach you the basics, and then you can combine science, technology, and art lots of different ways: novel or well-tread, high-school or Ph.D, microscopic or big picture. Biotown promotes openness, creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. We like to call it a biohackerspace.
