BioThrust is a global bioprocessing innovator, working on advancing the future of CGT (stem cells, immune cells, viral vectors) & biologics (mAbs) to enable cost-efficient production of next generation ATMPs. Our core innovation, the ComfyCell bioreactor, combines process intensification with intelligent single use bioreactor technology to overcome one of the biggest challenges in cell therapy manufacturing: producing high value living cells at commercial scale without compromising viability or potency. Virtually all other bioreactors either expose sensitive cells to shear stress & gas bubbles, or can only deliver limited oxygen transfer & inefficient nutrient delivery. BioThrust addresses these limitations with a novel bioreactor platform designed specifically for sensitive stem cells and advanced biologic processes. At the center of our platform is a proprietary bubble free gas transfer system inspired by the human lung, the Membrane Stirrer. This approach enables highly efficient oxygenation and carbon dioxide removal while maintaining a gentle cultivation environment for delicate cell populations. All materials used are medically certified and ready for commercial. By enabling higher yields and more predictable scale up, BioThrust helps developers of cell therapies, exosomes, and complex biologics move from research to commercialization faster.
