At Biosense, our mission is to develop solutions that enable all animal-associated science to be highly quantative. Animal-related methods have some of the highest false-positive and irreproducibility rates in all of science, and ultimately we hope to play a role in reducing these rates through technology that is efficent, easy, and safe to use. Our wireless, non-invasive telemetry solution delivers data regarding high frequency locomotor behavior, while meeting the rigorous standards of animal research. We offer a post-processing solution that has been validated to automatically report rodent activity, and are working with our research partners on a number of other metrics, including pain, addiction, and mortality. Biosense has been funded by the NIH and 8VC, and our devices have been used by researchers at Stanford, Rockefeller, UC Santa Barbara, Indiana University, and the University of Michigan. If you share our vision of making preclinical science easier, faster, and more rigorous, or have any questions or comments for us, please reach out.
