BIOS-groep Information

BIOS-groep is a mobility provider and a smart mobility orchestrator engaged in providing, organising, coordinating and implementing nationwide transport services. As BIOS conducts transportation services, the Dutch Passenger Transport Act (Wet Personenvervoer 2000) applies to BIOS-groep. BIOS' activities as mobility provider and smart mobility orchestrator can be classified in the following categories of transport: Care transport; Social transport; Regional transport, including supplementary public transport for regional concessions; Airport transport at Schiphol. Zorgvervoercentrale Nederland (an entity within BIOS) acquires concessions for these activities, mostly through public tendering.
