COMPANY PROFILE Bioneeds is a Bangalore (INDIA) based, integrated and privately owned Contract Research Organization (CRO) which is supporting pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies by providing quality and cost effective preclinical services and laboratory animals. It has a state of the art 35000 sq ft facility at Devarahosahally, Nelamangala Taluk, Bangalore Rural which is 60 kilometers from Bangalore and also from Bangalore International Airport MILESTONES 2005-06 : Breeding facility (Rat, Mice, Guinea Pig, Rabbit) 2007-08 : Addition of 20 experimental room 2008-09 : Preperation for GLP accreditation 2009-10 : Drug Testing Laboratory accreditation (Achieved) Addition of 20 more experimental rooms Dog facility GLP application (In progress) AAALAC accreditation (In progress) ACCREDITATIONS Bioneeds has been approved by Committee for the purpose of Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals (CPCSEA), Ministry of Environment & Forests, GOI to breed and experiment on animals. Registration Number : 969/bc/06/CPCSEA. Bioneeds has been approved by State Drug Controller as a Government approved Drug Testing Laboratory for carrying out tests on Drugs / Cosmetics and Raw Material used in their manufacture on behalf of licensees for sales of Drug / Cosmetics. License Number : KTK37/20/2009. Bioneeds has also been recognized by Review Committe on Genetic Manipulation (RCGM), Department of Biotechnology, GOI to conduct experiments on animals for rDNA or genetically modified resources.
