BION Enterprises is a cloud-based, SaaS provider of its patent-pending SmartFile Reporting technology. With a single click of a mouse, a user can make any computer file a SmartFile. When opened or viewed, a SmartFile reports back to the user, invisibly, with the IP address, date and time stamp and, confirmation that the document has been accessed. Pioneered more than 10 years ago as audience measurement for online advertising, management further developed the technology for popular office document such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint or Adobe PDF files. BION SmartFile 2.0 was released as a proof-of-concept platform in August 2011 and currently has a growing customer base and revenues. Management believes that early adopters are professionals with high value documents and/or client fiduciary responsibilities, business owners and government agencies.
