BioLambda is an innovative Brazilian Start Up focussed on development of light-based technological solutions for industrial and research applications, as well as for personal and professional use. Besides light sources, the BioLambda team also excels at photochemistry and photobiology principles and, therefore, we can also develop novel light-activated chemical compounds and applications in healthcare. To succeed in our essentially interdisciplinary challenges, BioLambda assembled a unique team with complementary academic and professional backgrounds. Our team currently counts with dentists, veterinarians, physicians, physical therapists as well as with engineers, chemists, physicists and biomedical scientists. Furthermore, BioLambda founders and contributors have a solid expertise in photonic and electronic-based technologies, which allows us to fully design and develop projects that can be applied to several different fields. Our most developed area of expertise is related to light-based therapies. Using well- established concepts of photobiomodulation (PBM), photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photoinactivation (PI), BioLambda is ready to present effective alternatives for distinct industrial, research and healthcare applications. These technological platforms offer a broad-range of applications that are very attractive to consumers as they present the necessary compliance with the modern way of life: they are simple to use, safe, effective, inexpensive and represent highly sustainable alternatives (i.e. long-lasting, reusable devices and low to zero production of waste material). Therefore, we believe that there is a great opportunity in the global market that can be reached by the correct technologies and BioLambda is capable to develop the most versatile and up to date light-based solutions for implementation.
