History BioEnergy was established in 2012 under the name of Dayra, is one of the pioneers in producing and supplying Alternative Fuels derived from wastes. BioEnergy fulfilled strong ambitions of young entrepreneur – Eng. Mahmoud Galal– to address a huge challenge for Egypt, transforming wastes in a great business opportunity. BioEnergy proved its sustainability and profitability in the following years despite Egypt’s political and economic turmoil and the presence of other relevant competitors.Lately, BioEnergy was elected by Synergos – a global nonprofit organization, headquartered in New York, focused on sustainability – as one of “Egypt pioneers” in the field of providing sustainable energy.
