BioEnergy Development Inc. builds and operates distributed waste-to-carbon infrastructure across North America. We deploy distributed BioGrid™ systems directly at the source of agricultural and forestry waste — the farm, the mill, the processing facility. Each system converts contracted biomass into specification-grade carbon products and firm, behind-the-meter baseload power. The EXRGY thermal conversion platform — in commercial operation since 2022 — produces different carbon products depending on feedstock and process parameters. The infrastructure stays the same. The output is tuned to the highest-value market each site can serve: • Activated Carbon — for water treatment, PFAS remediation, and industrial filtration • Engineered Biochar — for agriculture, soil health, and permanent carbon storage • Clean Baseload Energy — behind-the-meter power under long-term PPAs • Verified Carbon Removals — registry-certified credits (Puro.earth / Isometric) Over 40% of U.S. activated carbon is imported. EPA has confirmed enforceable PFAS drinking water standards with a 2031 compliance deadline, and granular activated carbon is the primary recommended treatment. We are building the domestic, contract-backed supply infrastructure to meet that demand. Our model: we go to the waste, not the other way around. Long-term feedstock agreements anchor every project. Carbon product offtake and energy PPAs underwrite asset economics. Every deployment eliminates waste disposal costs for the host site, reduces environmental, wildfire and methane risk, and creates a new revenue stream from materials that would otherwise rot, burn, or emit. Five-year target: 1,000 EXRGY™ units across 200 BioGrid™ microgrids. Carbon-negative by design. Powered by waste.
