Bio-Effect Ltd. was formed in 1998 in cooperation with the University of Tel-Aviv. The activities of the company is in Research and Development of Surface Treatments in both the Orthopedic and Dental fields. Bio-Effect currently holds a registered patent on the subject of Nano-Active Surface which holds advantages over other registered surfaces allowing for faster osteointegration as well as surface morphology allowing for excellent bone to implant contact. Up until 2013, Bio-Effect had provided services in the field of surface treatment in the dental field, both for domestic and European and USA companies, among these companies some big names in the Dental field. Moving forward from 2013, Bio-Effect had dedicated its Surface Treatment facilities to its own products and seized operations for external companies. Dr. Eli Ast had joined Bio-Effect in 2007 as the head of the R&D Department, today he is the acting CEO of the company and has been able to bring to the company his personal 20 years experience in the Dental field. The Bio-Effect team has a wide array of knowledge in the field of surface treatment and designing of dental medical devices. Bio-Effect holds its no-compromise quality demands fiercely.
