Bio-Based Materials Collective Information

We are a collective network of members hailing from diverse locations in the built environment landscape: policy-makers, architects, builders, developers, academics, students, manufacturers, engineers, educators, artists, and journalists. Born out of a founding Summit in November 2023, we took on the question: “How to rapidly scale plant-based materials in the Northeast?” We come together under the shared understanding that the disruption inherent in climate crisis spurs us to act boldly and create regenerative paths forward, now; and that systems-level problems require cross-discipline, creative responses that create outside the box.
