Through objection recognition, and following municipalities recycling guidelines, people at home have access to tools and information to dispose of nonrecyclables and recyclable products properly. Reducing the need for extensive sorting technologies and staff at sorting centers. At the same time, lowering transportation costs are reduced with optimized mapping through peer to peer pickup and locating recycling drop-offs to the nearest convenience. This method of neighborhood self-management lessens the need for more carting and human resources to bring in waste into sorting centers.
